See your Mac's screen and control it with touch, a trackpad or a keyboard. It uses the Screen Sharing built into macOS, so there's nothing to install on the Mac.

What it does
See your Mac's screen and use it
Flex Screen Share shows your Mac's screen on your iPhone or iPad. You can click, scroll and type, and use the Mac as if you were sitting in front of it.
Turn on Screen Sharing on the Mac, and it appears in the app by name. The picture goes straight from your Mac to your device over your own network. It never passes through a server of ours, and we don't run one.
You don't need an account. Your saved Macs and passwords stay on your device.
Features
What you can do
Touch or touchpad
Tap where you want to click, or use the screen like a trackpad. Scroll with two fingers and pinch to zoom. A trackpad or mouse connected to your iPad works too, including right-click.
Mac keys on the keyboard
The on-screen keyboard adds Command, Option, Control and Shift, plus Esc, Tab and the arrow keys. A hardware keyboard works as well.
Mac shortcuts in one tap
Open Mission Control or App Windows, show the desktop, switch apps, or move to the next or previous desktop.
Every display
If your Mac has more than one display, switch between them with one tap or see them all at once. Fit the screen or its width, or view it at actual size.
Copy and paste text
Send text from your device to the Mac's clipboard, or copy the Mac's text back to your device. Text only moves when you tap.
Secure Connection
Turn on Secure Connection to encrypt the session using your Mac's Remote Login (SSH). You confirm it's your Mac the first time, and the app won't connect if that Mac's identity changes.
Sign in at the login screen
If your Mac is showing its login screen, the app can type your saved password for you. It checks Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode first.
Observe only
Watch the Mac's screen without sending any clicks or key presses, so nothing changes by accident.
Your saved Macs
Save your Macs, sort them into groups, mark favourites and search the list. The app also opens vnc:// links and .vncloc files.
Quick Connect with Pro
Connect to a saved Mac from a Home Screen widget, from Control Center, or with Siri and Shortcuts.
Away from home
The app connects over your own network. To reach your Mac from somewhere else, use a VPN such as Tailscale or WireGuard. The app shows you how.
Devices
iPhone and iPad
Flex Screen Share works on iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 or later.
iPhone
On iPhone the app starts in touchpad mode, so you can move the pointer precisely on a small screen. You can switch to touch mode whenever you like.
iPad
On iPad the app starts in touch mode. It works with a Magic Keyboard, a trackpad or a mouse, and you can open a second window to use two Macs side by side.
Your Mac
A Mac with Screen Sharing turned on. You don't need to install anything on it.
The Control Center control needs iOS 18 or iPadOS 18 or later.

Before you start
What you need
A Mac with Screen Sharing on
On the Mac, open System Settings, then General, then Sharing, and turn on Screen Sharing.
Your Mac account
You sign in with the user name and password you use on that Mac. A VNC password works too, if you've set one.
The same network
Your iPhone or iPad needs to be on the same network as your Mac, or connected to it with a VPN.
Remote Login for Secure Connection
Secure Connection also needs Remote Login turned on, in the same Sharing settings on the Mac.
Standard screen sharing isn't encrypted on the network, so use it on networks you trust or turn on Secure Connection. Apple's High Performance mode only works between two Macs, so it isn't available in this app. No Mac nearby? Try the Demo Mac in the app.
